Red Oak Foundation Scholarship provides financial assistance to high school seniors who participate in programs of the Texas Interscholastic League Foundation (TILF) and plan to attend college in the state to prepare for a career as a teacher.

Requirements

This program is open to seniors graduating from high schools in Texas who have competed in a University Interscholastic League (UIL) academic state meet (participation in athletic or music contests does not qualify).

Applicants must be planning to attend a public 4year college or university in the state (or Texas Wesleyan University).

They must have declared their intention to teach grades K12 in the public school system in Texas.
