The Renaissance Scholars Program - Spring is open to residents of Illinois or Oregon and to students planning to attend college in those states. Students who are the first in their families to attend a 4-year college are encouraged to apply. The sponsor is looking for students who demonstrate strength of character and a strong work ethic.

  • Resident of Illinois or Oregon or attending college in those states
  • Graduating high school senior, college freshman or sophomore at a 4year college, community college student transferring to a 4-year college, or nontraditional student
  • Seeking a bachelor's degree as a fulltime student
  • Participate in extracurricular activities, community service, or work
  • First in the family to attend a 4year college
  • Exhibit strength of character and a strong work ethic
  • Demonstrate significant financial need, defined as EFC of $6895 or less
