Requirements

This program is open to members of underrepresented or minority groups who are residents of Illinois or full-time students at a school in that Illinois.

GPA of 2.0 or higher.

Applicants must be enrolled at a community or trade college

They must be working on an associate or technical degree as preparation for a career in the transportation industry.

Eligible areas of study should be related to the transportation industry.

Applicants must be United States Citizens, legal alien with a registration card or permanent residency. Special consideration is given to applicants who have a family connection to the Conference of Minority Transportation Officials (COMTO).
