RMEL Foundation Scholarship provides financial assistance to students who wish to study selected fields in college in order to prepare for a career in the electric energy industry.

Requirements

This program is open to high school seniors, high school graduates, and college undergraduates.

Applicants must be working on or planning to work on 1) an electric industry craft certificate or associate degree; or 2) a baccalaureate degree.

Their field of study must be engineering; business; information systems; plant, line, or distribution technology; line worker; or other program related to a career in the electric energy industry.

Selection is based on goals and aspirations in the electric energy industry, motivation to succeed, service to the community and school, and academic performance.

U.S. citizenship is required.
