Requirements

This program is open to residents of any state who are planning to attend approved colleges, universities, or art institutes in Alaska or Washington and study the visual arts.

Applicants may be firstyear, transfer, graduate, or returning students.

Fields of study include animation, ceramics, digital art, graphic design, illustration, metalsmithing, photography, printmaking, sculpture, or visual fine art.

In the selection process, financial need and merit are considered, but 70% of the weight is placed on potential and talent.
