Roger Lowell Memorial Scholarship provides financial assistance to residents of Maine who are interested in enrolling in a winter program in turf management at a college in any state.

Requirements

This program is open to Maine residents who show an active interest in turf management and are enrolled or accepted into a winter turf management program.

Both high school seniors and currentlyenrolled college students are eligible.

They must have a grade average of "C" or higher.

Applicants must submit a transcript, and a letter of recommendation from a member of the Maine Golf Course Superintendents Association (MGCSA).

They must be able to demonstrate character, integrity, leadership, and participation in extracurricular activities; financial need is not considered.
