Rosemarie Blades Honorary Scholarship provides financial assistance to children and spouses of military personnel who have an affiliation with Naval District Washington South Potomac near Dahlgren, Virginia, and are interested in attending college in any state.

Requirements

This program is open to 1) high school seniors who are dependents of military personnel currently or previously assigned to Dahlgren as a permanent duty station; 2) undergraduate students who are dependents of military personnel currently or previously assigned to Dahlgren as a permanent duty station, and 3) civilian spouses married to military personnel currently or previously assigned to Dahlgren as a permanent duty station.

Military personnel are defined as members serving on active duty in any branch of the military, including members of the National Guard or Reserve Corps on active duty orders.

Dependents of retired or deceased military personnel are eligible if the member was stationed at Dahlgren during activeduty status.

All applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll fulltime at an accredited college or university in any state.

Financial need is not considered in the selection process.
