Rotary Purple Heart Scholarship provides financial assistance for college in any state to residents of designated counties in northern New York who have been awarded the Purple Heart and their dependents.

Requirements

This program is open to residents of Jefferson, Lewis, or St. Lawrence counties in New York who have been awarded the Purple Heart and the spouse or child of a Purple Heart awardee.

Applicants must be high school seniors applying for the freshmen year or traditional or nontraditional students enrolled as fulltime undergraduates in any year of college or technical school.

High school juniors who will graduate early because they are in an advanced placement program may also apply.

Interviews are required.

Selection is based on academic achievement, personal data, and financial need.
