Requirements

This program is open to residents of Sacramento County who are Farm Bureau members and either graduating high school seniors or recent high school graduates.

Applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll at a career technical school in any state.

Their field of study must relate to agriculture, including (but not limited to) baking and pastry, culinary arts, culinary management, diesel, heavy equipment, veterinary technology, and welding.

Selection is based on academic involvement in their chosen field, work experience, career goals, and agricultural and community involvement.
