The Samsung@First Scholars program is an academic achievement-based award for undergraduate and graduate students seeking a bachelor's or master's degree at a public college or university in California. Students who are studying for a degree in a STEM field on a full-time basis are encouraged to apply. Special consideration is given to students attending schools in Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, and Sonoma counties, California. Students seeking degrees in engineering and computer science and engineering (CISE) are given additional consideration.
