The San Diego Association of Black Journalists Scholarship Program provides financial assistance to high school seniors and college students from the San Diego area who are interested in studying journalism or related subjects at colleges in any state. Students with a strong interest in public relations, marketing, or other communications-related field are encouraged to apply.

Requirements
  • Graduating senior from a high school in the San Diego area or graduate of those schools already enrolled at a 2- or 4- year college or university.
  • Majoring or planning to major in print or broadcast journalism or mass communications.
  • Seeking an associate or bachelor's degree.
  • Demonstrate financial need. Preference is given to students with a strong interest in public relations, marketing, or another communicationsrelated field.
