Sandra R. Spaulding Memorial Scholarship provides financial assistance to students from diverse ethnic backgrounds who are enrolled in an associate degree in nursing (A.D.N.) program in designated states that are affiliated with the California Nurses Association/National Nurses Organizing Committee (CNA/NNOC).

Requirements

This program is open to students who are enrolled at least half time in the second year of an accredited A.D.N. program in states affiliated with CNA/NNOC and plan to complete the degree within 2 years.

Selection is based on that essay, commitment and active participation in nursing and healthrelated organizations, professional vision and direction, and financial need.

A goal of this scholarship program is to encourage ethnic and socioeconomic diversity in nursing.
