Savannah Post SAME Scholarship provides financial assistance to high school and college students in fields of science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) who have a connection to the Savannah Post of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME).

Requirements

This program is open to high school seniors and college students enrolled or planning to enroll in a field of STEM at an accredited college or university in any state.

Applicants must be 1) a Savannah Post SAME member or employee of a sustaining firm; 2) a dependent of a Savannah Post SAME member or employee of a sustaining firm; or 3) sponsored by a Savannah Post SAME member or sustaining firm employee.

They must have a GPA in high school or college of 3.0 or higher and high scores on the SAT or ACT examination.

Financial need is considered in the selection process.

Preference is given to students with military aspirations, as exemplified by enrollment in an ROTC program or previous military service.
