Requirements

This program is open to seniors graduating from high schools in the San Diego Unified School District and planning to attend a college or university in San Diego County.

Applicants must indicate a desire to commit to teaching in San Diego city schools for at least 3 years following graduation.

Selection is based on a commitment to their education and future career; potential for success in college as demonstrated by the ability to overcome challenges; participation in extracurricular activities, community service, and/or work experience; and financial need.
