SEG Foundation/Apache Scholarship provides financial assistance to high school seniors, undergraduates, and graduate students who are interested in studying applied geophysics or a related field at a college in a country where the Apache Corporation has oil operations.

Requirements

This program is open to 1) high school students planning to enter college in the fall, and 2) undergraduate or graduate students whose grades are above average.

Applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll at a college or university in countries where Apache operates (Argentina, Australia, Canada, Egypt, United Kingdom, or the United States).

They must be working on or planning to work on a degree directed toward a career in applied geophysics or a closelyrelated field (e.g., earth or environmental sciences, geology, geoscience, or physics).

Financial need is not considered in the selection process.
