SFM Foundation Scholarship provides financial assistance to residents of Iowa and Minnesota whose parent was injured or killed in a work-related accident and who are interested in attending college in any state.

Requirements
  • This program is open to residents of Iowa and Minnesota between 16 and 25 years of age who are high school students, GED recipients, or high school graduates.
  • Applicants must be the natural, adopted or stepchild of a worker injured or killed in a workrelated accident during the course and scope of employment with an Iowa- or Minnesota-based employer and entitled to receive benefits under the workers' compensation laws of their state.
  • They must be planning to work on an associate or bachelor's degree or a certificate or license from an accredited school in any state.
  • Financial need is considered in the selection process.
