Requirements

Graduating high school senior planning to enroll at 1 of 16 participating universities (Colorado School of Mines, Florida A&M University, Georgia Institute of Technology, Louisiana State University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, North Carolina A&T University, Penn State University–University Park, Prairie View A&M University, Rice University, Stanford University, Texas A&M University–College Station, University of Houston, University of Illinois–Urbana-Champaign, University of Oklahoma, University of Texas-Austin, or University of Texas-El Paso).

Seeking a bachelor's degree in engineering (chemical, civil, electrical, geological, geophysical, mechanical, or petroleum) or geosciences (geology, geophysics, or physics) as a fulltime student.

Black, Hispanic/Latino, American Indian, or Alaskan Native.

U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the United States.
