Slovene National Benefit Society Scholarship provides financial assistance for college to members of the Slovene National Benefit Society (SNPJ).

Requirements

This program is open to members of the SNPJ who are enrolled at an accredited college, university, or trade school.

Applicants must have a minimum of $5,000 permanent SNPJ insurance ($2,000 if purchased prior to 1996) at the date of application and have been a member of the society for at least 2 years.

Regular scholarships are available to applicants who have a GPA of 2.5 or higher, can demonstrate financial need (income less than $20,000 per dependent), participate in 1 SNPJapproved activity annually, and attend 2 young adult conferences.

Academic scholarships are available to applicants who have a GPA of 3.2 or higher, are 30 years of age or younger, participate in 1 SNPJapproved activity annually, and attend 2 young adult conferences.

SNPJ Activity scholarships are available to applicants who have a GPA of 2.5 or higher, are 30 years of age or younger, perform extensive SNPJ activity, and attend at least 2 young adult conferences.
