Requirements
  • This program is open to SMACNA member contractors, employees of SMACNA member contractors, SMACNA chapter executives, national SMACNA employees, SMACNA associate members, and immediate relatives of all those groups.
  • Applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll fulltime at an accredited 4-year college or university in the United States.
  • They may be majoring in any field, but preference is given to students preparing for a career in the sheet metal industry.
  • Selection is based on that essay, academic achievement, extracurricular activities, community involvement, leadership ability, and character.
  • Financial need is not considered in the selection process.
