SME Directors Scholarship provides financial assistance to undergraduate students enrolled in a degree program in manufacturing.

Requirements

This program is open to full-time undergraduate students enrolled in a manufacturing degree program at a college or university in North America.

Applicants must have completed at least 30 units with a GPA of 3.5 or higher and be interested in preparing for a career in manufacturing.

They must be current members of a professional or student chapter of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME).

Preference is given to students who demonstrate leadership skills in a community, academic, or professional environment.

Financial need is not considered in the selection process.

U.S. or Canadian citizenship, permanent resident status, or student visa is required.
