Requirements

This program is open to graduating high school seniors of Chinese descent who are either 1) residents of Fremont, Newark, or Union City California; or 2) children of members of the South Bay Chinese Service Club.

Applicants must be planning to attend a college or university in any state.

Selection is based on that essay's academic achievement, leadership qualities, extracurricular activities, and community service.
