The Southern Coal Providers Association (SCPA) Scholarship recognizes the work of current and former West Virginia coal industry employees by providing their families with need-based scholarships. Family members of employees of companies engaged in the mining and processing of coal, located within the 26 approved West Virginia counties are eligible to apply.
