The Southern Region Korean War Veteran Descendant Scholarship is available to the descendants of the Korean War who are high school students, undergraduate, graduate, or professional school students. Students attending or planning to attend school in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, or Tennessee are eligible to apply.

Descendant of an American Korean War veteran who served in Korea

Minimum 3.00 GPA

Resident of the U.S.

High school freshman, sophomore, junior, senior, undergraduate, graduate, doctoral, medical, or law student

Seeking an associate, bachelor's, graduate, law, or medical degree

Fulltime student

Planning to attend school in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, or Tennessee

Korean heritage, having a Korean parent, grandparent, or greatgrandparent, or have been adopted from Korea

Demonstrate financial need
