Steve Barton "Achieving the Dream" Endowed Scholarship provides financial assistance to high school seniors who participate in 1-act play competitions of the Texas Interscholastic League Foundation (TILF) and are interested in majoring in theater at a college in the state.

Requirements

This program is open to seniors graduating from high schools in Texas who have competed in a University Interscholastic League (UIL) 1-act play contest.

Applicants must be planning to attend a college or university in the state and major in theater.

Preference is given to applicants who can demonstrate a strong combination of skills in singing, dancing, concert piano, directing, and scenic, costume, and publicity design.
