Requirements

This program is open to 4-H members in Tennessee who have participated in animal science (beef, dairy, goat, horse, poultry, or swine) projects.

Applicants must be entering freshmen at a college, university, or technical school in any state.

They may be planning to major in any field.

Selection is based on participation in 4H animal science projects (40%); other 4-H experiences, including leadership and citizenship (30%); academic achievement (15%); and other activities, such as community, school, and church (15%).
