Stockbridge-Munsee Higher Education Scholarship provides financial assistance to members of the Stockbridge-Munsee Community Band of Mohican Indians who are interested in attending college or graduate school in any state.

Requirements

This program is open to members of the Stockbridge-Munsee Community Band of Mohican Indians who are interested in working on an associate, baccalaureate, or graduate degree at a college or university in any state.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate financial need.

In the selection process, priority is given to students in the following order: continuing current students, new students, parttime students, students for whom the educational institution has made a determination of no financial need, and students who are repeating a degree level.

Wisconsin residents who attend school in the state must also apply for a Wisconsin Indian Student Assistance Grant.
