The Sunshine Opportunity Scholarship is awarded to graduating high school seniors in the counties of Hillsborough, Pasco, or Pinellas in Florida or the cities of Florence or Marion in South Carolina. Students who have overcome significant obstacles in life are encouraged to apply.

Minimum 3.0 GPA

Graduating high school senior from Hillsborough, Pasco, or Pinellas counties, Florida; Florence or Marion, South Carolina; or Avery County, North Carolina

Seeking a bachelor's degree as a fulltime student at a public university in their home state

U.S. citizen

Participate in community service

Exhibit academic achievements and overcame significant obstacles

Demonstrate financial need
