TELACU College Success Scholarship provides financial assistance to Latino students from eligible communities in California, Texas, Illinois, and New York who are interested in attending college in any state.

Requirements

This program is open to Latino residents of selected communities in southern California, selected cities in Texas, the Greater Chicagoland area of Illinois, or the state of New York.

Applicants must 1) be a firstgeneration college student; 2) be from a low-income family, and 3) have a GPA of 2.5 or higher.

They must be enrolled or planning to enroll fulltime at a college or university in any state.

Selection is based on leadership potential, professional and extracurricular achievement, commitment to the development and economic empowerment of communities, and financial need.

Priority is given to 1) students majoring in business or fields of STEM; 2) students attending institutions in southern California that provide matching funds (for a list, contact the sponsor); and 3) renewal applicants.
