Requirements
  • This program is open to African Americans who are graduating high school seniors or current full-time undergraduate or graduate students.
  • Applicants must be interested in working on a degree in public policy, public administration, political science, community engagement, or other advocacy disciplines.
  • They must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and be able to demonstrate leadership skills through participation in the community, advocacy, extracurricular, and/or other activities; courage of conviction and determination in pursuit of their goals; and commitment to a career in government or the nonprofit and advocacy sectors.
