TESA Teenager of the Year Scholarship Contest provides financial assistance to seniors at high schools in Texas who plan to attend college in the state.

Requirements

This program is open to seniors at high schools in Texas who are U.S. citizens.

Applicants must be planning to enroll full time an accredited college or university in the state.

Each Elks lodge in the state may submit the application of 1 boy and 1 girl.

Each application must include a 300word essay on professional goals, transcripts, SAT/ACT scores, and copies of achievements and awards for leadership, extracurricular activities, athletics, dramatics, community service, or other types of activities.

Boys and girls compete separately.
