The CIRI Foundation Cap Lathrop Scholarship supports the educational goals of Alaska Natives. Applicants intending to work in Alaska in the broadcast/telecommunications industry are welcome to apply. Preference is given to original enrollees and direct lineal descendants of Cook Inlet Region, Inc.

Requirements

Alaska Native original enrollee or direct lineal descendant of a regional or village corporation as provided in the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act of 1971

Minimum 3.0 GPA

Seeking an associate, bachelor's, or graduate degree in broadcasting, telecommunications, business, engineering, journalism, or other mediarelated fields as a full-time student

Demonstrate in their application's "statement of purpose" an intent to work in Alaska in the broadcasting/telecommunications industry upon completion of studies Preference is given to original enrollees and direct lineal descendants of Cook Inlet Region, Inc.
