The Education for Operators Scholarship provides financial assistance to residents of Idaho, Oregon, or Washington who are attending a technical school or community college in those states to prepare for a career as an operator in the water environment field.

Requirements

This program is open to residents of Idaho, Oregon, or Washington who are enrolled in a 1-year certificate program or a 2-year associate degree program in any state.

The program must be preparing them for a professional career as an operator in the water environment field.

They must be U.S. citizens.

Selection is based on that essay, academic potential, extracurricular activities, letters of recommendation, and experience pertaining to or related to the water or wastewater field.
