The Helen Laughlin AM Mode Memorial Scholarship provides financial assistance to students who are Texas residents and are radio amateurs of the general class or higher. Students planning to pursue postsecondary education are welcome to apply. Special consideration is given to students who are residents of Texas. If there is no qualified student from Texas, second preference is given to residents of Arkansas, and third preference is given to residents of the ARRL West Gulf or Delta. Special consideration is also given to women amateur radio operators who are performing at a high academic level and who have made contact in AM mode.

Minimum 2.00 GPA

Resident of Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Tennessee, or Texas

Undergraduate student

Seeking a bachelor's degree

Enrolled at a 4year college or university
