The Maine Tuition Waiver (Public Servant) is available to children or spouses of Maine firefighters, law enforcement officers, or emergency medical services providers killed in the line of duty. Students who are planning to pursue an associate or bachelor's degree at a public college or university in Maine are eligible to apply.

  • Attending or planning to attend a public college or university in Maine as a fulltime student
  • Aged 21 or younger at the time of the parent’s death (child only)
