The Race for Education Scholarship provides financial assistance to Kentucky students whose family is employed in the equine, animal science, or agriculture industry and are interested in working on an undergraduate or graduate degree in those fields.

Requirements

This program is open to high school seniors, high school graduates, and students currently working on an associate, bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree.

Applicants must be residents of Kentucky or attending a college or university in that state.

Their family must be employed in the equine, animal science, or agriculture industry and they must be studying a field of equine, animal science, or agriculture.

Financial need is considered in the selection process.
