The Rev. Canon James B. Prichard Memorial Scholarship provides financial assistance to relatives of Episcopal clergy from the Diocese of Rochester who are interested in attending college in any state.

Requirements

This program is open to children, stepchildren, and adoptive children of clergy who are canonically resident in the Episcopal Diocese of Rochester (which serves western New York).

Preference is given to children of clergy whose active ministry is in the diocese.

Applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll at an accredited college or university in any state as fulltime undergraduate students.

Selection is based on character, leadership, citizenship, scholastic attainment, and activity in the life of the church, with some consideration given to financial need.
