Requirements

This program is open to dependent unmarried children, grandchildren, or great-grandchildren whose sponsor has been a member of the association for at least 2 years or, if deceased, had been a member for at least 2 years at the time of death.

Dependent children, grandchildren, and greatgrandchildren of military personnel who served in any Third Marine Division unit and lost their lives as a result of combat actions while serving in Vietnam or the operations known as Desert Shield, Desert Storm, Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom, or any other operation anywhere in the world after August 2, 1990, are also eligible.

Applicants must be interested in attending a college or university in any state and have a GPA of 2.5 or higher.

They must be between 16 and 23 years of age and able to demonstrate financial need.
