The Thomas E. Brown Memorial Finance Scholarship is open to students majoring in finance at the University of Southern Mississippi. Residents of Forrest, Jasper, Jones, Lamar, and Smith counties in Mississippi are encouraged to apply. If a finance major cannot be found, the scholarship shall be awarded to a student in any major in the College of Business and Economic Development who is from one of those counties.
