Requirements

This program, also known as the Chief Little Bear Ortega, Sr.

Scholarship, is open to American Indians and Alaskan Natives who live in California and can document tribal or village enrollment or descendancy.

Applicants must be enrolled at an accredited college or university in any state.

They must be able to document completion of community service within the previous 12 months.

Undergraduates must have a GPA of 2.75 or higher and graduate students must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
