The TOPS Honors Award is available to graduating high school seniors in Louisiana who are planning to attend college by the first semester following the first anniversary of high school graduation. Students who are planning to pursue a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree are welcome to apply. Recipients are chosen for their strong academic standing.

Minimum ACT composite score of 27

Completion of the 19.0 Core Units of the TOPS Core Curriculum

Planning to attend a college or university in Louisiana as a fulltime student (by the first semester following the first anniversary of high school graduation)
