The TOPS Opportunity Award is available to graduating high school seniors in Louisiana who are planning to attend college by the first semester following the first anniversary of high school graduation. Students who are planning to pursue a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree are welcome to apply.

Minimum 2.5 GPA (TOPS Core Curriculum courses only)

Minimum ACT composite score of the prior year state average but never less than 20

Completion of the 19.0 Core Units of the TOPS Core Curriculum

Resident of Louisiana

Graduating high school senior

Seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree

Planning to attend a college or university in Louisiana as a fulltime student (by the first semester following the first anniversary of high school graduation)
