TWISTER Scholarship provides financial assistance to female high school seniors in Tennessee who are interested in attending college in any state to prepare for a career in the field of STEM.

Requirements

This program is open to women graduating from a Tennessee public high school, approved private high school, or home school and participating in the TWISTER (Tennessee Women in Science, Technology, Engineering & Research) conference.

Applicants must be interested in attending college in any state to prepare for a career in a field of STEM; preference is given to applicants in the field of technology.

They must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Selection is based on that essay (50%), transcripts (25%), memberships and honors in academic or service clubs (15%), and 2 letters of recommendation (10%).
