Requirements

This program is open to residents of any state who are currently working on a degree in accounting at colleges and universities in the 13-county TXCPA Houston service area.

Applicants must be 1) entering their senior year of undergraduate study; 2) enrolled in n a program that will enable them to sit for the C.P.A. examination to become a Texas Certified Public Accountant, or 3) working on a master's degree.

They must have a GPA of at least 3.25 in accounting classes and 3.0 overall.

Selection is based on academic achievement, social responsibility, ethics, and financial need.
