United States Hunter Jumper Association Zone 5 College Scholarship provides financial assistance to members of the United States Hunter Jumper Association (USHJA) and the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) who live in USHJA Zone 5 and are interested in attending college in any state.

Requirements
  • This program is open to members of USHJA and USEF who attended at least 3 years of high school in USHJA Zone 5 (Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, and Ohio).
  • Applicants must be entering a college or university in any state as a freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior.
  • They must either rank in the top 20% of their high school class or have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Selection is based on the quality of that essay, length of their Zone 5 showing career, academic achievement, leadership potential, service to the community, and financial need.
  • U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status is required.
