Upper Midwest Local Section/John Pendergrass Memorial Scholarship provides financial assistance to residents of designated states in the Upper Midwest and students attending colleges in those states who are working on an undergraduate or graduate degree in industrial hygiene or environmental health and safety.

Requirements

This program is open to students enrolled full or part-time in an undergraduate or graduate program in industrial hygiene or environmental health and safety at an institution approved by the sponsor.

Preference is given to students with an emphasis on occupational health.

Applicants must be either 1) residents of Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, or western Wisconsin attending or applying to a school in any state; or 2) residents of any state attending or applying to a school in those states.

Selection is based on that statement, academic history, honors and awards, community and volunteer service, and relevant work experience.
