Requirements

This scholarship is available to residents of Vermont who are currently enrolled in the second year of a dental hygiene program.

Applicants must submit a 250word essay on their interest in and commitment to the career or program of study they have chosen to pursue; their short- and long-term academic, career, and/or employment goals; their financial need; the impact that their participation in community service has had on their life; and what they believe distinguishes their application from others that may be submitted.

Selection is based on that essay, academic achievement, letters of recommendation, and financial need.
