Requirements

This program is open to licensed radio amateurs of technician class or higher who are residents of Louisiana.

If no qualified applicant is identified from Louisiana, the award is available to residents of other states within the Delta Division of the American Radio Relay League (ARRL): Arkansas, Mississippi, or Tennessee.

Applicants must be working on an undergraduate or graduate degree in business, science, mathematics, engineering, or technology.

They must submit an essay on the role amateur radio has played in their lives and provide documentation of financial need.

U.S. citizenship is required.
