Requirements

This program is open to seniors graduating from high schools in Iowa and planning to enroll full-time at an accredited 2- or 4-year college, university, or vocational school in any state.

Applicants must have an account established in their own name at a credit union that is a member of the Iowa Credit Union League.

They must be planning to attend a college or university within 1 year of high school graduation.

Selection is based on the essay's originality, clarity, meaningful content, accurate presentation of facts, adherence to contest rules, spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
