Washington Thoroughbred Foundation Scholarship provides financial assistance to residents of Washington and students attending college in the state who are preparing for a career in the equine industry.

Requirements

This program is open to undergraduate students who are residents of Washington or attending a college or university in the state to prepare for a career in the equine industry.

Fields of study may include (but are not limited to) equine science, preveterinary medicine (equine practice only), equine business management, racetrack management, pasture management as it relates to horse farms, equine or racetrack marketing and/or communications, or other related fields.

They must have a GPA of 2.85 or higher and a household income of less than $75,000.
