Washington Wine Industry Foundation Scholarship provides financial assistance to residents of Washington who are interested in studying viticulture and/or enology at a college in any state.

Requirements
  • This program is open to residents of Washington who are enrolled or planning to enroll full-time at a college or university in any state.
  • Applicants must be interested in working on an undergraduate or graduate degree in viticulture and/or enology, wine business management, or food science.
  • High school seniors must have a GPA of 3.4 or higher; current college students must have at least a 3.0 GPA. All applicants must submit an 800word essay about themselves, including such topics as what sets them apart from others, why they have chosen their particular area of study, their future plans and career goals, their interests and experiences in the wine grape industry, their plans for improving or enhancing the wine and grape industry, why they should receive the scholarship.
  • Selection is based on academic merit, leadership abilities, interest in the study of enology and/or viticulture, and financial need.
